Prefix Premiere: Francisco The Man's "Tiger"
Meet Francisco The Man, a Los Angeles-based quartet that can melt your face off with its West Coast brand of shoegaze. Led by vocalist Scotty Cantino, the psych-rockers effectively mesh static, reverbed instrumentation with sun-kissed, beach rock guitar riffs to create hazy, laid back, and infectious tunes.
Today, Prefix is proud to premiere “Tiger,” the band’s debut single. The track is a three-and-a-half-minute long excursion through wave-drenched beaches and moonlit summer nights, as twinkling guitars guide the way.
The 7” is set for an August 7 release via Small Plates Records. You can pre-order the record here, and for those of you who live in L.A., check out the quartet every Monday of August during its free residency at The Satellite.
